The Light of Love Junior Board
"I’m involved on the Jr. Board because serving and loving others is what we are called to do as Christians. It is more blessed to give then receive (Acts 20:35) and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to give my time, thoughts, ideas, and to help fundraise for impactful projects all over the world. It is a blessing to be a blessing and being on the board means that I get to be apart of the work that everyone puts in to bless the community and outreach beyond it."
- Payton Bunn

These nine high schoolers have raised money to help Light of Love's two partners in El Salvador and Kenya. In the spring of 2024, the Jr Board raised money to buy solar panel lights for the Kariobangi Children's Home in Nairobi. These lights helped the 27 children be able to complete homework and study each night. They also helped provide security for the property. The Jr. Board also sent funds to El Salvador to purchase new tools needs to help the construction team with the house projects. Both items were a huge blessing to our partners. (See photos below from these fundraisers.)
This fall, the Junior Board is raising funds to build a home for a family in need in El Salvador. In Kenya, funds will help revamp the boy's temporary shelter at the Kariobangi Children's Home.
