President's Day Weekend • February 15-19, 2024

In El Salvador, Light of Love partners with a missionary and his ministry, Sus Hijos/His Children. This trip is a great way to serve in a variety of ways. Check out the sample itinerary below and consider joining this team. It will truly be a life-changing and unforgettable experience.

Sample Itinerary

Thursday: Early morning travel to El Salvador - feed homeless in evening.

Friday: Build a home for a family in need.

Saturday: Finish the house and be part of a community feeding day.

Sunday: Church and beach day with children's center and farewell dinner.

Monday: Return home with a new perspective and a full heart!

Deadline to Sign Up: Nov 1, 2024 (though the trip could fill up before then)
Trip Cost: $1500 + Airfare* (will likely be around $1000 total for airfare)
Deposit Due at Signup: $250 non refundable deposit
Team Size: 16 people max
Age Requirements: Ages 12 and up.
Trip Paperwork and Other Requirements:
• A Background check will be run on all team members 18 and over
• Team members must sign our paperwork packet which includes a background check release form, liability form, trip policies document, etc. We will send this to you once you are added to the team.

If the trip is full, we will not charge your deposit.

*Please note: airfare prices vary depending on price at time of booking, etc. Flights to El Salvador are currently running around $1000 roundtrip. Once flights are booked, we'll updated your total in Managed Missions (our mission trip app). Right now, the total is just a high-end estimate.
